Designed especially for the North American market (even including Canada), the Volkswagen CrossBlue is one that is dear to our hearts. Even if it is only a concept at present. A six seater four wheel drive SUV, it houses a 2 liter turbo engine and a couple of electric motors that will hit 60 in just over 7 seconds and offer a possible fuel economy of nearly 90 miles to the gallon when driven in the hybrid mode. Let's hope they make this one a reality.

Clearly influenced by the gorgeous design of its predecesor, the 2014 Mercedes E-Class Coupe also has a few new cool tricks up its sleeve. The LED headlamps have been split into a menacing looking four sectioned design and the chunky wheel arches add a little extra attitude. There's a choice of either a 3.5 liter V6 or 4.6 liter V8 bi-turbo engine under the hood and up top you can opt for a hard or soft roof.

A gorgeous addition to the luxurious range, the 2014 Lexus IS is available in two models - 2.5 and 3.5 liter - both boasting a thundering V6 engine with the later featuring an 8 speed sport direct shift automatic transmission. Inside there's ten safety airbags as standard and optional extras include blind-spot, cross-traffic and lane-departure alerts along with automatic high beam lights that will also make it one of the safest rides on the tarmac.

This US icon just got more, well, iconic. Under the undulating hood of the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is a V8 6.2 liter engine capable of generating 450 hp and will get you up to 60 mph in less than four seconds. The aluminium frame and carbon fiber hood equals less weight and more speed and it's one of the finest looking automobiles that they've ever produced, in our humble opinion.

A car for the everyday, but by no means an everyday car. The 2013 Bentley Continental GTC Speed may appear understatedly elegant but under those sleek, undulating lines lays the soul of a motoring beast. The 616 hp engine will get you from stop to sixty in a little over 4 seconds, plateauing out just as the needle passes the 200 mph mark. Inside there's hand-stitched leather upholstery, luscious carpets and more gadgetry than Neil Armstrong's spaceship.

An absolute stunner of a car. Beneath the hood of the 2014 Jaguar F-Type S there's a 3 liter V6 Supercharged engine that generates 380 horse power that will fire you up to 60mph in 4.8 seconds. It boasts a keyless entry and start system, 19 inch propeller wheels, sport suspension with adaptive dynamics, active sport exhaust and the Jaguar high performance braking system with black calipers and is one of the most beautiful things we've ever seen.

We're big fans of Audi at GearCulture, and the 2013 Audi RS6 Avant has us very excited. The hood hides a 4 liter TFSI V8 twin scroll supercharged engine, 560 hp and it will get you to 60mph in 4 seconds. At an impressive 220 pounds lighter than its predecessor, it's not only faster, but 40% more eco-friendly too. The sport suspension, exhaust, dynamic steering, 21 inch wheels and carbon fiber ceramic brakes means it'll be one of the smoothest rides out there.

A thunderclap of a motorcar and the fiercest sedan that the company has ever produced. The 2014 Jaguar XFR-S boasts a supercharged 5 liter V8 engine with 550hp and the 8 speed ZF transmission will get your from stop to sixty in a little over 4 seconds. There'll only be 100 made for the US, so you'd better get in quick.

Even by BMW standards, this thing's a real head turner. Sleek, beautiful lines, the 2014 BMW M6 Gran Coupe is a luxury 4 door coupe that boasts a twin turbo V8 4.4 liter engine capable of generating 560 hp and will reach sixty in just over 4 seconds. So it not only out-accelerates most Porsches, but also fits more than two, and their shopping, too.

Buckle up, there's a new Porsche on the horizon. The 2014 Porsche Cayman will be available in two models, the standard will boast a 2.7 liter boxer-six 275 hp engine and the Cayman S a 3.4 liter boxer-six capable of generating a whopping 325 hp. Six speed manual transmission is standard and the S will make 60 mph in just shy of four and a half seconds. And of course, as always, it's a beautiful looking muscular beast of a car.
