Confession: As much as we love our standard-issue GC MacBook Pros, we’re peeved at the fact that it only has two USB ports. That said we’re always scouting around the office for an open port to charge our iPads and iPhones. That’s why we’re all lusting over Twelve South’s Twelve South PlugBug ($35) after hearing about it. The PlugBug is a stand-alone charger that can also unsnap to piggy back onto a MacBook’s Power Adapter, making it a dual charger to simultaneously charge MacBook and an iDevice, from one outlet. Not only is the PlugBug great for the office, since you’ll have one less charger to carry and need one less outlet to find, it’s great for travel as well.
