Motorola Prizm Touchscreen Phone
Motorola recently announced their new touchscreen mobile phone. The MotoPrizm ($TBA) features a 2.8-inch, 260k color TFT touchscreen display equipped with a 3 megapixel camera and Bluetooth. Other extras include DMB support, E-wallet function, 3.5mm headphone jack, USB 2.0 connectivity and a memory card slot. [via Gizmodo]
It seems like I'm on a phone kick this week. The second Google phone was recently announced and is set to release in Australia by the beginning of 2009. The Kogan Agora and Agora Pro ($200-$250) will be the newest phones to run on Google's Androids. While both models feature a 2.5-inch tochscreen display, 3G network, a backlit QWERTY keyboard, Bluetooth 2.0 and a microSD card slot, only the Pro comes with extras like a 2 megapixel camera, WiFi, Bluetooth and integrated support for GPS navigation. The design features a very rugged phone perfect for adventurers around the globe. Nokia recently announced the N97 ($TBA), their next generation high-end phone. The design features a tilting 3.5-inch touchscreen display as well as a full QWERTY keyboard. Decribed by Nokia as a true "mobile computer", this phone is packed with applications and widgets along with A-GPS sensors and a digital compass . The N97 also features a 5 megapixel camera with DVD quality video capture and a huge 32GB internal memory that can be expanded to 48GB with a 16GB MicroSD card.
HTC Corp. along with At&t officially released the Touch Pro as the Fuze ($300 - $500). This smartphone runs on Windows Mobile 6.0 Professional and stays connected with 3g tri-band HSDPA. The large 2.8" VG touch screen display includes HTC's TouchFLO 3D user interface to easily access your favorite features. This phone also includes a 3.2 megapixel camera and slide out 5-row QWERTY keyboard to zip through tasks like messaging. if you're one of the people that cannot pull the trigger on an iPhone, the HTC Fuze is the way to go.
