Younicos is attempting to make a tethered workstation a thing of the past with their mobile energy storage unit called the Yill. Packing one kilowatt hour of energy, the YillI can power a standard workstation for up to three days. It utilizes a rechargeable lithium titanium battery which recharges very quickly and offers a longer operating life than conventional lithium ion.
