What’s In My Gym Bag?

If you want a streamlined and efficient workout, you need to pack your gym bag carefully. Packing the right gear helps you to maximize your workout during your time at the gym. Of course, you will want to pack some extra clothes etc, but there are some things that should always stay in your bag. Some things you can’t live without. Here are some of my essential every day carry items.

Elite Muscle Roller Stick

The Elite Muscle Roller Stick is a must. It targets sore tight muscles to prevent cramping. Just roll it on the target area for about 5 minutes and you’ll get a release in tension and an increase in blood circulation to the area. If you are prone to muscle cramps, this is the best gift that you can give yourself. I’ll go so far as to say that you’ll wonder how you got along without it. Never leave home without one. This gadget is no joke!

Jaybird X2 Sport Headphones

If you’re anything like me, music is a must at the gym. It motivates you, helps pass the time and just makes working out a better experience. So I always pack these Jaybird X2 Sport Wireless Bluetooth Headphones. These headphones feature 8 Hours of Music + Calls With Complete Remote Controls. They have both over and under-ear fit options and most importantly when you take them to the gym, they have a lifetime sweat proof warranty. They have great sound quality.

BODYARMOR Sports Drink

How about hydration? It’s crucial to stay hydrated when you’re working out like a beast. That’s why I pack a few of these BODYARMOR sports drinks in my bag that can be easily found at any Walgreens. They even have a new UFC flavor – Octagon Orange – to complement their wide variety of other flavors, though the UFC flavor can be found exclusively at 7-11 stores.

In all, BODYARMOR actually has 3 different types of drinks. Their full-calorie Sports Drink, their BODYARMOR Lyte, which is low calorie and low in sugar, and BODYARMOR SportWater, which is a premium sport water that includes electrolytes and a ph+8. These drinks are all about superior hydration when you need it most. And you need it the most at the gym. Sure you could just pack some tap water in your bag, but these drinks give you exactly what you need to perform your best during a workout and ensure that your body is feeling great throughout the day.

Adidas Adipower Lifters

So, what about shoes? You need to pack the right ones to squat and deadlift properly. Everyone has their own favorites, but my gym bag has these Adidas Men’s Adipower Weightlift Shoes. They help me accomplish very important things: to be more stable and to have the proper form. They are comfortable and provide the right fit. It helps that they also look amazing. You have to wear the right shoes for the right job.

Birddogs Gym Shorts

Speaking of clothing, when it comes to gym shorts, I always have a pair or two of Birddogs gym shorts with me. Never heard of them? You’ll be packing them in your bag from now on because these shorts feature a wallet pouch, phone pouch, plenty of room for your junk, and huge front pockets. You can carry everything you need in these shorts and again, they look great. Once you try these, there’s no going back to other brands.
