The SLR Helmet by Mavic Plasma is by no means the lightest brain-protector out there (a large-size weighs in at over 13 oz), but it’s certainly one of the safest, most comfortable and most attractive. The full in-moulded shell is perfectly designed to allow a cooling airflow while the inner pads not only cushion but draw moisture from your head. The internal skeleton and carbon wing means it will take some battering, but please, try your best not to put it to the test.
